DELIVERY

Your goods will be sent within 48 hours of us receiving your cleared payment.

WE SHIP TO UK MAINLAND ONLY.

Payment by cash, postal orders and bank transfer usually implies immediate dispatch. (Internet orders paid by credit card are subject to third party processing and approval.) Orders received by 2:00PM (14:00) are usually dispatched before the close of business at 5:00PM (17:00).

Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are usually dispatched before the end of the next working day.

Carrier

Our parcels are handled by FedEx for larger domestic and international orders, smaller packaged are shipped through royal mail.

Every order is sent out in descreet brown box packaging.

Delivery of split shipment of goods

Where some items of your order are out of stock or take a little while longer to deliver, your order will be delivered as a single shipment when all items are ready for dispatch. We will always endeavour to deliver within fourteen working days however.

Collection

Items are available for collection from our Newark, Nottinghamshire warehouse. Please contact us to arrange this.

RETURNS

Returns are processed only by prior agreement.

Please contact us by email or telephone if you wish to discuss any aspect of your order, or if you have recieved incorrect or faulty goods.

It is our policy to repair any faulty or damaged goods if they are returned in accordance with our warranty/guarantee.

Up on Delivery Faulty goods can be returned  for repair or replacement.

Please return goods to Basement Lighting Ltd, Unit 3, The Old Maltings, George Street, Newark, Notts NG24 1LU. Please include your name, address, phone number and reason for return in your parcel and make sure products are well packaged as any items received back damaged in transit cannot be replaced and must be claimed for from the postal service used by yourself.

Alternatively, at our option, instead of a repair (and subject to returning the goods as required) we will replace the goods with the same or a similar product (subject to stock availability).

Where a return is accepted

We will provide you with details of where you must return the goods and other relevant instructions. You must then immediately return the goods to us at your own cost and risk. We reserve the right, at our option, to collect the goods from you. If we wish to collect the goods we will notify you of when they will be collected by us. We will charge you for the cost of collecting the goods and will deduct this from any sum owed by us to you.

The goods must be returned to us in the same condition in which you received them.

You must return the goods with original packaging and the receipt. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.
